Jana Eubank here. Lately, I have been focusing on getting some older photos scrapbooked, in rotation with my newer photos. I try to switch back and forth ... one new, one old, one new, one old ... so that I can get caught up on our older memories, while still recording the details of our latest happenings.
Today I have two pages for you, both of them feature the NEW Foam Front dies.
This first page features newer photos of my husband and I when we went to the Magic Kingdom recently to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary.
I wanted to challenge myself to use the NEW Foam Front Mickey die in a creative way on this page and decided to use it as a journaling block.
I cut the shape using red solid cardstock and then backed it with a yellow solid paper. I outlined the mouse ears with a journaling pen and then sprinkled several toppings on the inside.
I combined together red and blue Sequin Sprinkles, white Lollies, red Candy Sprinkles, Neutral (black) Pearlies, blue donuts, as well as blue and black Fimo Fun Toppings for a festive look!
I added journaling strips to the top of the foam front shape and then placed my title work below.
I also created a fun cluster of embellishments at the top of the journaling block.
I added some festive Magic Ribbon around our photos and then finished it off with the "Love" flair from the Magic Flair set. Perfect for our anniversary, don't you think?!

For this second page, I decided to work with some photos from 2010 that I have been ignoring for far too long. They are of my daughter and her friends at a Cast Party after they performed in their Elementary's school play of Aladdin.
For this card, I used the Foam Front Stars Die to build a background for my page. I love the way it came together!
First, I cut blue and green cardstock with the Foam Front Stars die, and then used my trimmer to trim the die cuts into 4 1/4" squares. Next, I embossed them with various embossing folders from my stash and then adhered them to a block of white cardstock, adding Yellow Skinny Glitter Tape along the seams for a touch of sparkle.
I added a strip of photos, tied with blue Sparkle String, and then got to work on the title and journaling block.
I used a tag card that I die cut on my Silhouette machine, layered on top of a piece of patterned paper. Green rivets decorate the tab of the card, and Bitty Beads add texture to the green chipboard letters I used as part of the title. At the top, I layered together more glitter tapes (Green Dot Glitter Tape and Yellow Check Glitter Tape).
For more color and texture, I sprinkled some yellow Button Bouquet II buttons around the page, along with the yellow stars from the Fimo Fun Toppings. They feel like confetti sprinkled on the page and definitely add a party feel! Yay! "Celebrate Good Times, Come On! ... It's a Celebration!"
