Hi everyone! Michele Boyer here today sharing two cards using Queen & Company’s new super sparkly Glitter Washi Tape. I tried to think outside of the box a bit to use the tape in a different sort of way.
On my first card I used Gold Dot, Yellow Skinny and Green Lines Glitter Tape to die-cut partial shapes. I first applied strips of each tape to white card stock to form color blocks of each, carefully aligning the edges so that no white would show in between strips. It was quite easy to align the edges and even match the partial circles on the Gold Dot tape.
Once the tape was applied to the white card stock, I simply die-cut the shapes as usual. I slipped the pineapple pieces into the black outline and attached the sun to the top. (Stamps and dies from Paper Smooches.)

On my next card, I used Skinny Silver glitter tape to die-cut whole images as embellishments.
I used the same technique as noted above. I applied several strips of Silver Skinny tape to white card stock then used a die to cut the tiny stars. I used one of the smaller hearts from Hearts Foam Front die to cut the heart dangling from the branch.
I also used the glitter tape in a more traditional fashion, applying a strip down the side, partially hidden by the Heart Throb patterned paper, giving the appearance of a thinner strip of sparkle. (Stars, branch and owl dies by Taylored Expressions, available April 6th. Sentiment die by Paper Smooches.)
